According to a recent post by Bungalower, the proposed development of Lucerne Promenade, currently a vacant lot at the corner of South Orange Avenue and Lucerne Circle, has been redesigned. [view map]
UPDATE: According to a post by Orlando Business Journal, Earth Fare Inc., a North Carolina-based organic grocery store, was named as a potential tenant of the promenade redevelopment.
According to Bungalower, the Appearance Review Board took this opportunity to implement additional improvements to the project, citing concerns for “enhanced pedestrian connections”….. pedestrians for the win!
The mixed-purpose project is now slated to include multi-family units, retail including a grocery store, a five-story building as well as a four-story multi-family building. Plans for later phases of development were updated as well.
Once developed this project will serve as a gateway from Downtown Orlando into Downtown South.
