All 13 Central Florida BMO Harris Bank branches have changed hands after being bought out by Seacoast Bank. Our local Downtown South branch on the northeast corner of Orange Ave. & Gore St. will be closing this Friday, June 3 at 2:00pm and reopening as a Seacoast Bank branch on Monday, June 6.
Employees seem positive about the changeover, citing that communication turnarounds should be dramatically decreased since Seacoast Bank operates in Florida exclusively, translating to a better, more expedient guest experience. With the changeover will come an interior remodel as well, giving the branch an updated, contemporary feel while maintaining that good ol’, personalized small bank service it has become known for.
