Downtown South Committees

The four primary committees are the backbone of Downtown South. They coordinate and implement the work and activities of the program to achieve our goals.

The Main Street approach is incremental, taking the time needed to address the economic challenges and issues of our business district, while rebuilding a positive, coordinated image for the area.

It is a community-based program, drawing on the talent, passion, and resources of the local businesses, residents, property owners and government to restructure and nurture a vibrant business district that draws people to live, work, shop, dine and play.

We involve volunteers from throughout the Downtown South community. We work with residents, businesses and government at all levels to bring renewed activity, vitality and pride to the area.
