Please join us Sunday, December 8th at Lake Beauty Park for our First Community Christmas Tree Lighting. You and your family can enjoy the Orlando Philharmonic, Christmas caroling, refreshments and a special guest appearance by Santa!
The VIP reception (invite only) begins at 5:30pm, followed by the Tree Lighting at 6:30PM.
Downtown South, an Orlando Main Street and 501(c)3 non-profit corporation, was established in the Fall of 2008 by a group of local residents, small business owners, and representatives of the medical community and the city government. These stakeholders recognized the potential of this beautiful, historic community with its lakes, parks, and small town atmosphere. Their goal was to create an even more vibrant and dynamic community.
Downtown South offers an opportunity to all—residents, business owners, and members of the medical community to have an impact on the future of their community.
Downtown South is a grassroots, volunteer-driven program dedicated to helping reshape and stabilize the Downtown South business district.
Volunteer opportunities range from serving on one of our four committees, to assisting with events and activities.
